    Actually this album came about 10 years after Emo as a genre was establised. Listen to Rites of Spring and Embrace(the hardcore band), which although is a totally different sound from this band were labelled Emo in 1984.

    I know, Clarity was …
    I know, Clarity was a good record but ever since Bleed American they have become less experimental and more mainstream. I still like their new material but not nearly as much as Static or Clarity.

    I think their new album will be good, there’s a youtube vid of them playing a new song live, it’s pretty good. Reminds me of static a little but not too much. You never know. Try to find that song if you can.

    this band was the original to set this sound though i have respect for them …. “emos” of to day dont give credit to bands like this for pioneering there sound which is sad cause i would think that they are disappointed at was emo has become and hey these guys didnt dress in tight pants and have weird gay hair
